Designed specifically around a small-scale, autonomous ethos, Las Dunas hosts strictly one resident at a time. Las Dunas AiR has announced an open call for its December Reset 2026 session, offering one supported residency slot for an artist, writer, architect, researcher, curator, or interdisciplinary practitioner. Located in a quiet house on the Galician coast, the 1-month residency offers uninterrupted time for independent research, writing, project development, or creative reflection without any obligation to produce a finished work, exhibition, or public showcase. For this specific December slot, Las Dunas offers a 25% fee reduction on its regular monthly residency rate.

  • Solo House Facilities: Exclusive private accommodation and dedicated studio workspace in a quiet residential environment (one resident hosted at a time).
  • Included Services: Utilities, Wi-Fi, on-site bicycle, and local transportation transfers (arrival/departure transfer from Santiago de Compostela).
  • Mentorship: Optional 1-on-1 personalized critical dialogue, project feedback, and mentoring conversations when requested by the resident.
  • No Mandatory Output: No required final exhibition, public talk, or finished production output.

Fee Structure

  • Application Fee:€0 EUR (100% Free to apply).
  • Supported December Residency Fee:€975 EUR / month (Discounted from the standard €1,300/month rate by 25%; covers accommodation, studio, utilities, transfers, and mentoring).

(Note: This is a self-funded, subsidized residency slot, not a fully funded grant).
