Request for Qualifications: LUMINEX 4.0 — Resonance of Connection
LUMINEX 4.0: Resonance of Connection is an international public art initiative scheduled to take place on November 7–8, 2026 in downtown Los Angeles. The program invites artists from diverse disciplines to submit qualifications for consideration in a curated selection process for participation in this large-scale public exhibition.
The project is focused on commissioning museum-quality, conceptually driven, and site-specific works that engage with contemporary ideas of connectivity, perception, technology, and public space. Selected artists will be invited to develop proposals informed by a curatorial framework provided by the organizers, with flexibility to adapt scale, format, and spatial integration according to the urban site context.
