Organizer Information
Today Art Initiative (TAI) is an independent, Yerevan-based cultural organization founded in 2014 to develop contemporary art activities, platform experimental practices, and generate civic dialogue around localized socio-environmental challenges. Following the first edition of the OASis residency in Talin, Aragatsotn region, TAI is introducing the second iteration of the project in the capital. OASis — Open Art Spaces in Synergy is a network of creative spaces across Europe co-funded by the EU Creative Europe program, connecting institutional partners across 10 countries to democratize public access to contemporary arts.

Title & Description
OASis in Yerevan 2026.
This international open call invites creative practitioners to enter a multidisciplinary residency platform spread across multiple public spaces within a urban park environment. Combining independent artistic creation, community engagement, education, and social activation, the 2026 edition centers conceptually on air pollution and the broader query of air as a shared environmental condition. The residency invites site-responsive proposals that engage with air as a raw material, physical condition, socio-political atmosphere, or invisible presence, culminating in temporary public works that fuel discussions on urban ecology.
