Title & Description
Peter Bullough Foundation Spring 2027 Residency Program
The Peter Bullough Foundation Artist-in-Residence Program offers a Residency opportunity for emerging and established artists and writers seeking a concentrated period of studio-based development. Each residency lasts four weeks and hosts three artists simultaneously, creating a highly intimate and collaborative environment.
Residents are provided with dedicated studio space and accommodation while developing their practice independently. The program emphasizes self-direction, conceptual rigor, and community engagement. Each selected artist is required to deliver a public-facing event—such as a workshop, lecture, or talk—either in person or virtually, connecting their practice to the local community.
The residency encourages experimentation across disciplines, with an emphasis on both individual practice and shared creative exchange. It is designed as a transformative experience for artists seeking time, space, and critical engagement within a supportive yet independent environment.
