Organizer Information
The Prisma Art Prize is an international contemporary art competition produced by Il Varco Creative Hub. Curated by Domenico De Chirico with the artistic direction of Marco Crispano, the platform operates as a structural prism, refracting the diverse creative possibilities within the two-dimensional art making process. The competition is designed to amplify the cultural presence of independent visual practitioners on a global stage.

Title & Description
Prisma Art Prize — Rome — 20th Edition.
This international quarterly open call serves as an inclusive showcase to promote and discover emerging and mid-career artists. The program embraces the multi-directional paths of contemporary 2D practices—ranging from strict figurative compositions to absolute geometric abstraction, intimate visual narratives, traditional procedures, and hybrid, experimental forms of image-making. Shortlisted entries are published in a permanent online gallery reference index and remain systematically eligible for seasonal cash allocations, partner residencies, solo gallery presentations, and an annual physical museum showcase in Italy.
