Dot Line Space was co-founded in 2015 by Gourmoni Das, Piyush Bavalia, and Shruti Bhosle, all graduates of Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai. The platform operates out of the New Great Eastern Mills in Byculla, Mumbai, where it manages Nine Fish Art Gallery, launched by Anurag Kanoria and owned by The Great Eastern Home, inside a former 19th-century textile mill. Beyond exhibitions, Dot Line Space runs a ceramics studio and Print Adda, a dedicated printmaking studio for both established and emerging artists.
Dot Line Space Art Foundation, the organization's charitable arm behind Water Bodies & Ecology 2026, was created to build a cultural space for new thinking and socially engaged art. The Foundation runs exhibitions, education programs, and scholarships and stipends for students and emerging artists, and has collaborated with local, national, and international partners on residencies and multidisciplinary exchanges. It is led by Founder and Director Gourmoni Das, supported by a team of advisors, curatorial staff, and project coordinators.

Water Bodies & Ecology 2026 is a multidisciplinary initiative from Dot Line Space Art Foundation built around artistic engagement with water, ecology, climate, memory, and environmental consciousness.
