Organizer Information

BBA (Berlin Blue Art Gallery) began as an artist-run curatorial space in 2015, founded by artists Renata Kudlacek and Vishal Shah, who wanted to push the boundaries of how art is thought about rather than simply exhibit it. It was officially established as a gallery in 2017, and today BBA Gallery is committed to showcasing innovative work from local and international talents, bridging disciplines and perspectives through thought-provoking exhibitions, and represents multidisciplinary artists working across traditional and digital media. Based in Berlin, the gallery is recognised for its innovative, artist-led approach, bridging traditional and technological forms of expression and prioritizing the visibility of emerging and early-career artists on both local and international scales. The gallery's name, Berlin Blue Art, references Berlin Blue (Prussian Blue), the first modern pigment, invented in Berlin in 1706. Alongside its physical gallery programme, BBA runs BBA Prizes, a suite of international open-call competitions including the Artist Prize, Photography Prize, One Shot Award, and BBA 360.

Title & Description

BBA 360 — 3rd Edition (2026 Online Exhibition)

BBA 360 is BBA Prizes' fully digital, borderless art competition, open to artists and photographers worldwide. Entrants submit up to five images of their work online, with no shipping required and no size restrictions. BBA Gallery's directors will select 15 artists to feature in a curated Online Group Exhibition hosted via the BBA website in 2026/2027, with roughly 45 artworks total, alongside placement on Artsy (an online art marketplace) and promotion through BBA's social media and newsletters. The competition emphasizes storytelling, visual concept, and creative sensibility over formal training or exhibition history, and is explicitly framed as an accessible entry point into the BBA community regardless of prior background.
