The Foundation’s vision is to sustain the courageous dialogue fundamental to the arts and support exploration that reveals shared human experiences.

Ellis-Beauregard Foundation: 2026 Visual Arts Award.
This prestigious program offers a substantial financial award and a presentation opportunity to an artist working in the visual arts within the United States. Beyond the financial support, the Foundation encourages the awardee to bring a presentation of their choice to their dedicated Exhibition/Performance space in Rockland, Maine. The award is intended to empower artists to explore common ground and transcend cultural boundaries through their creative practice.

Visual Arts, including but not limited to Digital, Painting, Drawing, Photography, Video, Printmaking, Installation, Performance, Sculpture, Textile Art, and Ceramics.
Eligibility
- Residency: Must reside in the United States.
- Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders).
- Exclusions: Individuals on temporary visa statuses (H-1B, O-1, F-1, J-1, etc.) are not eligible.
Program Benefits and Awards
- Total Award: $50,000 cash prize.
- Presentation: An invitation to present work at the Foundation's space in Rockland, Maine.
- Fund Use: The recipient uses the $50,000 to cover all artist fees, travel/transportation, and production elements for the Maine presentation; all remaining funds are fully retained by the artist for their personal use.

Eligible artists can submit their work through the official Foundation Submittable page starting June 1. Apply for the Visual Arts Award.

Additional Details
Entries are judged on artistic excellence by a five-member jury of distinguished curators and critics. The 2026 jury includes experts from the Centre Pompidou, Minneapolis Institute of Art, and Pepperdine University.
