Applications are open for the Ibrida Festival 2026: Hyper Reality.
The 2026 edition explores "Hyper Reality," the zone where physical perception and digital augmentation merge into a single expanded dimension. The festival welcomes works that engage with synthetic vision, post-physical bodies, immersive or hybrid environments, and the shifting instability of the real.

Eligibility:
- Who: Open to artists of all countries and backgrounds. (Works may have been previously screened).
- Artwork Age: Submitted works MUST NOT predate 2024.
- Submission Limit: Artists may submit a maximum of 3 works.
- Category Limits: Video Art / Experimental Short Film / AI Video works must be a maximum of 15 minutes. Live Cinema / AV Performances must be between 25–60 minutes.

- IBRIDA AWARD – International Video Art: €1,000 + award plaque.
- IBRIDA AWARD – Italian Video Art: €500 + award plaque.
- IBRIDA AWARD – AI Video Art: €500 + award plaque.
- ATRIUM — Architetture Dissonanti Award: A residency dedicated to creating a video artwork focused on the Rationalist architecture of Forlì (residency value and production support provided by ATRIUM).
- Live Performances & Installations Support: Artist fee, travel expenses, accommodation & meals, technical support, and invitation letters (if required).
- Video Works Support: Festival pass and one/two hotel nights for attending artists.
Application Fee & Program Costs:
The application fee applies to all categories (Video Art, AI Video Art, Live Cinema, XR/VR/AR, and Installation) and is tiered based on when you apply:
- Earlybird Deadline: €6
- Regular Deadline: €8
- Extended Deadline: €10
Application Requirements:
- Technical Specs: Video files must be .mp4 or .mov (H.264 or ProRes) with a minimum resolution of 1080p.
- Language: Works not in English or Italian MUST include English subtitles.
- Installations: Installation and multi-channel works MUST include a tech rider and setup diagram.
