Short Description:

In Cahoots Residency is designed for people who have prior experience in art and/or writing. A portfolio of 8-10 images of artwork (or 1- 3 writing samples) is required for the application. You must be 18 years or older to apply. With a focus on community and inclusion, we welcome adult artists of all ethnicities, religions, ages, physical abilities, gender, financial status and educational backgrounds.

We welcome printmakers, book artists, letterpress printers and writers to apply as individuals. As our name, In Cahoots, suggests, we encourage collaborative teams or groups of up to 5 to apply as well. For artists who choose to apply as a collaborative team, each artist should complete a separate entry form with all required information, and make a clear note on the application that you are applying as a team.

In 2025, we will no longer have specific spouse and dog friendly sessions. Instead, we ask that you reach out to hello.incahoots@gmail.com if you are interested in bringing your spouse or dog to your session. Please note that if you plan to bring your spouse, there are additional fees and it does not include studio use for spouse unless they also submit an application. If you plan to bring your dog, we limit one dog per artist and an additional 100 dollar cleaning fee applies. Unfortunately, we will still not be set up to accommodate children.

Dog owners (and those with allergies) should be aware that we have 3 resident cats on the property.
