Al-Tiba9 Permanent Online Artists' Interviews
Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art is actively reviewing portfolios for its promotional digital interview platform, curated directly by founder and curator Mohamed Benhadj. Designed to help international artists articulate their creative visions, this ongoing project connects creators with an expansive global audience of collectors, gallerists, art dealers, museum professionals, and academics. Selected artists receive a beautifully designed, permanent webpage on the Al-Tiba9 platform entirely dedicated to their practice. This digital spotlight integrates a comprehensive, tailored 10-question text interview alongside a professional gallery display of their artwork, an artist statement, and a biographical record, providing long-term visibility within the international contemporary art market.
Categories
The platform features an open-medium format, accepting entries across All Visual and Material Disciplines. Artists utilizing painting, photography, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, digital art, mixed media, or textile design are welcome to apply.
Eligibility
- Geographic Scope: Open to contemporary creators living and working in any country or territory worldwide.
- Experience Benchmark: Open to artists at any stage of their career, from emerging voices to established professionals.
- Alumni Submissions: Creators who have been interviewed or published by Al-Tiba9 in the past are fully eligible to apply with fresh, unreleased bodies of work.
- Submission Limit: Strictly limited to one active application per artist.

Application Fee
- Initial Submission: Free. There is no cost required to fill out the digital application or submit a portfolio for evaluation.
- Selected Artists Note: A customizable selection processing fee applies exclusively to chosen artists who successfully pass the curatorial review board and choose to proceed with final, permanent digital publication on the platform.
Application Requirements
To prevent automatic rejection, artists must ensure their dossier is submitted entirely in English and strictly meets the following components:
- Digital Registry Form: Complete the base contact modules and artist profile blocks on the official webpage.
- Supplemental Materials: Compile high-quality images of the proposed artworks, a professional artist biography, and a cohesive artist statement.
- Email Delivery: Forward the supplemental portfolio materials directly to the interview desk via email with the exact required header.
How to Apply?
Artists must first complete the online registry form and immediately follow up by emailing their full portfolio materials to the selection committee. Due to the high volume of incoming submissions, only selected creators will be formally contacted via email.
