Title & Description

Pragovka Gallery Open Call 2027 – Exhibition & Residency Projects (Czech & International Artists)

The Pragovka Gallery Open Call 2027 invites artists and curators to submit proposals for both exhibition projects and residency projects under the thematic framework “Flashes of Humanity.”

This open call explores the evolving meaning of humanity in contemporary society. It encourages applicants to reflect on questions such as: What defines the human experience today? How do we perceive humanity in relation to technology, environment, and non-human entities? The theme embraces both traditional humanist perspectives and experimental, critical approaches that challenge the boundaries of what it means to be human.

Applicants are invited to propose projects that engage with subtle, everyday moments as well as broader social and philosophical questions. The theme is intentionally open-ended, allowing for diverse interpretations across media, formats, and conceptual approaches. Projects may be intimate or large-scale, ephemeral or permanent, visual or process-based.

Selected projects will be part of Pragovka Gallery’s 2027 program, either as exhibitions or as part of the international residency program.
