Studio PRÁM Artist-in-Residence 2027: International Call for Visual Artists

This residency program offers international artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant Prague art scene for an 8-week period. The program emphasizes the production of new work, providing access to professional workshops and technical facilities. The residency is highly integrated, as selected artists work alongside the permanent members of the Studio PRÁM collective. Each residency concludes with a 2-week final exhibition, supported by professional curatorial texts and graphic design, ensuring high visibility for the resident’s project.

Eligibility

  • Open to International visual artists of any nationality.
  • Applicants must be prepared to work in a communal environment (shared sanitary facilities and a kitchen).
  • The residency is suitable for artists who can work independently within a shared, non-acoustically separated studio space.

Fees

  • Application Fee: Free to apply.
  • Participation Fee: The residency provides space and support at no cost; however, the program is Self Fund regarding travel tickets, insurance, and daily pocket money.

  • Residency Project Proposal: A maximum of 1,800 characters outlining the intended work.
  • Portfolio: A single PDF file (max. 10 MB) showcasing previous work.
  • CV in English: Including date of birth, nationality, education, and exhibition history.
  • Contact Details: Full name, address, and email.
  • Links: Professional website or social media profile.

Please note that the studio space is shared and not acoustically separated from other working artists. Selected artists must be comfortable in an environment that includes other members and their families.
