Plataforma Arte y Medios (PAM) is an artistic and research platform focused on the intersections between contemporary art, media, technology, and emerging cultural practices. The organization develops initiatives that investigate the relationship between artistic creation and technological transformations, creating spaces for dialogue between artists, researchers, academics, and the broader community.
The fourth edition of Posthumanamente Hablando is organized by PAM / Plataforma Arte y Medios, together with Núcleo Fair and the Línea Imagen y Tecnología of the Faculty of Arts at Universidad Finis Terrae. The project is funded by FONDART, Chile’s national fund supporting artistic and cultural development.
The Posthumanamente Hablando programme was created as an open platform for artistic and academic exchange around posthumanist perspectives. Previous editions were held at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Santiago between 2023 and 2025, establishing a space for discussions around bodies, technologies, non-human systems, artificial intelligence, and expanded forms of artistic practice.
The 2026 edition will take place at Galería Réplica in Valdivia, Chile, bringing together artists, researchers, and practitioners from different disciplines. The programme aims to explore how contemporary artistic practices respond to technological, ecological, and philosophical changes that challenge traditional ideas of humanity, creativity, and materiality.
Through presentations, discussions, and research-based artistic proposals, the event creates a meeting point for emerging artistic investigations and theoretical reflections related to posthuman approaches.

Posthumanamente Hablando IV – 2026: Cuerpos, Artes, Tecnologías invites artists, researchers, and academics to submit emerging artistic and research proposals exploring posthumanist approaches across art, science, technology, and contemporary culture.
The fourth edition of this programme focuses on the relationship between bodies, artistic practices, and technological systems. The call seeks proposals that examine new ways of understanding creativity, intelligence, materiality, and human/non-human relationships.
Applicants are invited to submit artistic research projects, theoretical presentations, essays, analyses, case studies, or projects currently in development. Selected participants will present their work during the event through a 15–20 minute presentation format.
The programme is structured around three main curatorial lines:
Inteligencias Interferidas
This section explores artistic practices that question, expand, and critically examine the use of artificial intelligence within creative processes. Projects may investigate AI as a collaborator, tool, system, or cultural phenomenon affecting contemporary artistic production.
Materialidades Vibrátiles
This curatorial line focuses on non-human materialities, new ecological perspectives, and artistic approaches that move beyond anthropocentric viewpoints. It welcomes projects exploring relationships between matter, environments, living systems, and alternative forms of existence.
Miradas Expandidas
This category focuses on multimedia proposals that engage with expanded experiences involving technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, video games, experimental cinema, and interactive environments.
The event seeks proposals that demonstrate critical thinking, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches connecting artistic creation with technological and philosophical questions.

The organizers particularly encourage participation from artists and researchers working outside Santiago and from different regions of Chile.

- 5 accommodation and travel scholarships for participants travelling within Chile.
